We have adopted advanced innovative processes for manufacturing of our superior quality products. These are developed keeping in mind the special requirements of automobile industry. Some processes, which we adopt during manufacturing of our products are: Goodwill Engineering

Precision Gear Cut Process (Spiral gear, Crown Wheel, Pinion)

We use The Gleason Five Cut method for manufacturing of spiral bevel gears, crown wheel and pinions. Gears are cut by using the generation or format method and pinions are made using the Three Cut Gleason Cycle. Crown Wheel is done in 2 operations.

Before the cutting is commenced, the cutter blades are mounted on the cutter head and trued radially and axially.

Commercial Gear Cut Process (Spiral, Crown Wheel)

Goodwill EngineeringWe have adopted superior and effective commercial gear cut process for manufacturing of spiral and crown wheel gears and pinions. In this process, pinion is done in three operations while crown wheel is done in one operation. It results in highly efficient, noise free products, which offer long trouble free life.

Lapping Process

To ensure smooth and quiet noise free functioning, the Gears and Pinions are lapped after hardening. Lapping is accomplished by running mating pairs together in a Gleason Hypoid lapping machine and then feeding a liquid abrasive compound under pressure into the gear pair. The compound removes small amounts of metal as the gears rotate, thus refining the tooth surface and achieving desired contact pattern.

Gear Cut Process of Straight Bevel

We adopt gear cut process for manufacturing production of superior quality straight bevel gears. In this method, the gears are cut on cut on machines using the Coniflex System. This system of cutting ensures high productivity and good surface finish on WMW bevel Generator. Cutter blades are re-sharpened radially and axially on special purpose cutter sharpening devices.

Spline Hobbing & Thread Milling

Spline hobbing and thread milling is done to ensure efficiency and superior functioning. Splines are hobbed on imported Spline hobbing machines and threads are milled on imported special purpose thread milling equipment.

Grinding Process

In our recent expansion program we have installed the latest machinery for internal cylindrical spline and surface grinding. It is used in grinding process of crown wheels to increase their durability and efficiency. The internal diameter of hardened crown wheels are ground by holding the component in pitch line chucks to ensure accuracy of the finished gear. All the Grinding sizes are maintain in Microns as per requirement

Forging Process: (Upto 30 kg)

Superior forging process is adopted to ensure durability and efficiency of our products. Quality equipments and machines are installed for quality forging. Forging {upto 30 Kg} is done efficiently in alloy steels : En8 , En9, En19, En24,En36, 20MnCr5, En353, 8620, 42 CrMo4 etc.
